FAQs
-
Are you accepting new clients? When can I start?
Yes, I am accepting new clients at this time.
Usually, I have availability within a week. Don’t forget to schedule a free consultation so we can spend some time getting to know each other before you commit. You can schedule a consultation here.
-
Why don't you take my insurance?
At this time I am unable to accept insurance. This decision allows me to practice independently with my own practice. While I don’t accept insurance, I can provide a superbill that some insurance companies may accept.
-
Do you offer a sliding scale?
Yes! My equitable fee structure enables access to care for those who find therapy to be a financial strain. I am always open to working with folks however I can. I am also part of Open Path Collective, a nonprofit that serves clients who lack health insurance or whose health insurance doesn’t provide adequate mental health benefits. More about Open Path can be found here.

Do you offer a Good Faith Estimate?
Yes, pursuant to Section 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining how much your medical care will cost. A Good Faith Estimate outlines the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services.
Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least one business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
